You’re a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) who’s focused on maximizing business value and Product Backlog optimization to understand how to do the best possible job to satisfy key stakeholders.
The next step in your Agile journey is to achieve your Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO℠) certification.

Through the A-CSPO, you’ll learn to:

REQUIREMENTS
• Hold a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification with the Scrum Alliance.
• Attend a certified A-CSPO educational offering to gain techniques that expand into managing stakeholders, product discovery, and advanced Product Backlog management.
• Successfully complete all educator-designed components of an approved educational offering. This may include pre- or post-course work as deemed necessary by your approved educator to complete the learning objectives.

• You will be asked to accept the A-CSPO License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile.
• Validate at least 12 months of work experience specific to the role of Product Owner (within the past five years).

NOTE: You may take the A-CSPO course at any time after completing your CSPO certification, and must have at least 12 months of Product Owner experience logged into your Scrum Alliance profile before you are eligible to receive your A-CSPO certification.

A-CSPO certification validates the candidate’s understanding of Scrum processes, terminologies, ceremonies, and principles. It allows them to perform better within Scrum teams as well as in their organization to deliver effective products and business value. It adds a valuable credential to the work experience that helps the candidate’s in projecting them as highly valued professionals.
There are no prerequisites to attend the A-CSPO training. But, to receive the A-CSPO certification candidates must hold an active CSPO certification with Scrum Alliance and validate at least one year of work experience fulfilling the role and responsibilities of a Certified Scrum Product Owner.

As soon as you finish the Advanced Scrum Certified Product Owner training, you become eligible to receive the certificate from the Scrum Alliance.
There is no set format of the A-CSPO certification as it solely depends on Scrum Alliance REPs.
To obtain the A-CSPO certification, candidates should attend the training conducted by REP of Scrum Alliance and must complete all of the learning objectives.
Advanced Scrum Certified Product Owner certification is valid for 2 years.
To renew the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner certification, you need to submit 30 SEUs(Scrum educational units) and pay $175 for every 2 years.
