Attendees will learn what DevOps is, why it is important to every role, and design a continuous delivery pipeline that is tailored to their business. Attendees work in cross-functional teams to map their current state value stream from concept to cash, identify major bottlenecks to flow, and build an actionable implementation plan that will accelerate the benefits of DevOps in their organization.

Exam Details
- Exam name – SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner Exam
- Exam format – Multiple choice, multiple response
- Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Exam access – Candidates can access to the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner course
- Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam.

- Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)
- Attendees may be eligible to apply for 15 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications
- Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under Category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through the Scrum Alliance

A Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner (SDP) is a credential offered by Scaled Agile to enhance the full flow of value from idea to execution through a Continuous Delivery Pipeline. SAFe® DevOps certification offers an introduction to DevOps, based on the CALMR (Culture, Automation, Lean, Measure, Recover) approach in the Scaled Agile Framework.
There are no prerequisites to attend the SAFe® DevOps training. Applicants must attend both days of the course in order to qualify for the exam.

You can take up the first attempt of the exam anytime after completing the SAFe® DevOps training. The second attempt can be taken immediately after the first attempt. The third attempt can be taken after waiting for 10 days and the fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.
The SAFe® DevOps certification comprises 45 MCQs that need to be completed within 90 minutes. The passing score is 73% that means 33 out of 45 questions should be correct to get the certificate. It is a web-based closed book exam with no outside assistance allowed.
First attempt of the SAFe® DevOps certification exam fee is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of training completion. Each retake for the exam costs $50.
In order to attain SAFe® DevOps certification, candidates are required to attend the 2-day SAFe® DevOps course. They must successfully pass an online exam at the end of the course with a minimum of 73%. After clearing the assessment, candidates will get the certification from the Scaled Agile (SAFe® certifying body).
SAFe® DevOps certification is valid for one year and includes membership in the SAFe® Community Platform.
SAFe® DevOps certification needs to be renewed every year. To renew the certification, you need to login to the Scaled Agile Community portal and pay the annual cost of renewal which is $100.
